HDA got its roots from working with electronics in taking apart and repairing equipment. David the founder started assisting a neighbor who had a background in radio broadcasting and started learning about sound systems throughout his teenage years. He then went to college and studied Electronic Engineering, and also Business Administration. While in college he began working with the Drama department to help run audio and then was hired by the Audio-Visual department of the college (TNU) to help with their programs.
David has taken to encouraging the next generation to learn about audio-visual work through teaching, training, and in exploring the various paths that are out there to locate their own niche. Over the years various members have come and gone but many stay involved with AV.
With AV there are so many avenues and recently within the Video and PowerPoint presentations, there has also come more of a demand for computer implementation. Through this avenue, many asked for assistance with their computer needs and now we offer computer network consulting as a part of the AV services.
May the one who gave us these great gifts, receive all the Glory. I enjoy a production well done.
